I did what you said and FilmRise Music now has accurate data for me too. As you said, some slots are generic but that's quite alright. It's great to have guide data that is mostly correct for a FAST channel!

Hello, thank you very much for this project. I have a question regarding the LG Channels regional sources. On GitHub in the Sources Notes table for LG Channels it says "Country configurable (default: US)" but I don't know where to change that configuration. I would like to set it to KR for example, since there is no region selector for LG Channels on the Web UI sources section, I was wondering if I had to set an env variable in the yml file or maybe other type of configuration? Thanks.

I'll take a fresh look at LG, but from what I recall, their API only returned US channels. The readme is probably outdated.
on the feeds screen
for example a section at the top with a heading "unassigned sources" with pills for the sources that aren't assigned to a feed.

A new problem:
since i moved my channelsdvr and fastchannels to a new docker, a bunch of the sources from the fastchannels feeds in channelsdvr are disabled (greyed out and the manage menu is disabled)
Other are not
Anyone know how to get rid of them or at least fix them so they arent greyed out?
Guessing the feed was an old IP? Might need to remove them manually from ChannelsDVR then re-add.

RE LG regionaIs I fetch them via 3rd party, via a custom script using TOR and Curl. The user sharing them has not explain how they get them other than it needs specific authorisation from their tv. They don't want their tv banned so set it up like this. There is nothing missing other than a fairly limited 6 hour epg.

I looked into it. The API does look like it accepts other regions, but it's geo-locked to your host IP and it rejects any other region. So, you'd either have to be in that region, or some VPN may work.

May I ask If you examine the aforementioned LG KR playlist, are you able to spot what technique they may be using to jump the region lock?, I mean, maybe I don't understand how it works, but I can play those channels normally here in Peru without a VPN. Or, do you mean they are region locked for scraping purposes?

edit: nm, i had to enable them after adding back in.
Correct their API for scraping the channels rejects any attempt to change the region code. Best I can tell, they look up your IP and make sure it matches the region.
That’s just an educated guess tho. I’m in the US and have no way to test it completely for you.

After my plex guide data stopped working a few days ago, I decided it was time to try fast channels this afternoon.
I installed version 4.0. in less than 15 minutes using olive tin project one click I had my broken channel replaced in CDVR. Looking forward to begin adding more content feeds and exploring much more!

Did Plex change all their channels id's?

Every one of my 252 enabled Plex channels changed channel numbers. That can only happen when the channel-id changes, since that's what CDVR uses to track channel numbers when it assigns them.
