Favorite Channels not showing up on AFTV

I set a bunch of channels on the DVR server as favorite, but when I go to my Amazon FTV Guide, I see a message saying "No Favorite Channels. Mark some channels as favorite by clicking them on the Settings tab."

I'm trying to avoid going through hundreds of channels on each device and setting favorites. What am I missing?

I'm using Server Version: 2022.03.08.0212
AFTV App version: 4.2.1

Under settings > manage sources you can import your favorites

I don't have that option under Manage Sources. Do I need to be using the beta app?

Did you click into the tuner?

I found it. You have to go into each source and specify to import each channel source favorite. Is there any benefit for doing it this way? It just seems tedious. Why not just have an overall setting to grab the favorites for all sources?
