Right now to flip the channels you need to do the following
- Swipe down
- Swipe right
- Click
That will get you one “flip”. To go the next channel you must repeat all 3 steps and so forth.
What I suggest is using the FF/RWD ability of the remote to give a more seamless experience. All the above functionality would stay, but there would be the added ability to click on the edges of the remote to combine steps 2 & 3 while leaving the channel list up.
Giving us the following workflow:
- Swipe down (reveal channels)
- Click right (load and highlight channel to the right)
- Click right (load and highlight channel to the right)
- Click left (load and highlight channel to the left)
That way the user can easily flip through the channels over and over again previewing each program before landing on a selection.
