Would it be possible to have access to the Channels DVR setting link and log through the icon on the OS X menu bar when using a NAS. I initially had my DVR running on my MacMini so by default the Channels DVR icon was on the menu bar. I have since moved my DVR setup to a NAS and I log into the DVR settings by accessing my NAS via a web browser, then opening the packages to find the the channels package and then click on the IP address link and/or log. It was really convenient to click on the OS X menu bar Channels icon to access those feature… plus it was a cool icon.
Your best bet for now is to add a bookmark in your browser for quick access
