Feature Request: Quick access to delete after watching episode

Hi,

With the new interface, I find that we often start an ep from the "next suggested episode" section of the show view. From there, there's not direct way to delete the episode being watched.

My request is to add something so to the interfaces (either in-episode or out of out) that leverages the context of the episode being watched or that I just came from and gives me the option to delete it.

If that doesn't work, my alternate request would be a way to make getting into the episode modal the default way of entering an episode, since it offers the delete button. That could be either by giving the option to remove the "next suggested episode" section from the Show view, or by giving the option to move that section below the section listing episodes.

Thanks!

There’s no plans to make these changes.

My suggestion is to just navigate to the episode they way you did before the update, as that UX still exists. Manually pick an episode from the list of episodes and select it. This will give you the flow you are expecting and asking for.

It sounds like if you routinely delete episodes, then it’s not a lot of episodes to have to navigate though.

No, not a lot of extra navigation, but not the same lean-back / obvious flow of the past, as we're now sometimes coming out of a show with a delete button and sometimes not. I prefer not to give it that level of thought.

I don’t know how to explain this. My suggestion to you is to never use the continue watching feature, just ignore it. Just select the episode to watch just as you had before.

This will guarantee that you have an available delete button, as you want.

The same exact UX that was there before, is still there now. This was intentional. There’s just an additional flow you can use now.

It’s not suitable for what you need, so just ignore it and pick episodes as you did in the past.
