Feature Request: Refresh Guide on Client App(s) / Server

When updated on Channels DVR Server, the Guide does not automatically update in the Android TV app without:

  1. Restarting the Android TV;
  2. Force-quitting Channels App on Android TV.

It has become really difficult to force-close apps on Android TV (the long-press menu from the icon on the Home Screen no longer has an Info option that used to allow closing the app). Now, one has to go to the Settings menu (several clicks), go to Apps, find Channels, and on and on... thank Google, not Fancy Bits.

Is there any way to have an option in the Channels Settings (or other) menu to "Refresh Guide" or similar?

Even better, an option on Channels Server (may I cross-post this request there?) to "Tell Clients to Refresh" or something like that?

Clicking Scan Network under sources settings should refresh guide data too.
