Would love for (at the client level) an option to immediately on starting the app, tune to a specified channel. Realize this would need to be a toggle or something, and specific to each client. (Really want it on AppleTV…)
If you have a Harmony remote, you can do this. You will need your start-up channel as one of your favorites, so it shows in your Top Shelf. It is easiest if Channels is your first app (top left) and your start-up channel is your first favorite, so you have less navigation to program.
You will need to add some steps (attached) to your start-up Watch Apple TV action. Also, you'll need to add a Reboot Apple TV step to your shut-down command so that you always know the Apple TV will start up on the Home screen. Otherwise, you have no way of knowing where it will be. I am attaching the steps I added to my "Watch Apple TV" activity. My delay was 3 seconds, but you may have to adjust yours up or down.
