Feature Request - TiVo Like Onepass

I currently use a TiVo Bolt+ and 1 HD HomeRun Prime, A feature of TiVo that I would love to see integrated into channels is some of the options that are in the one pass…

What I mean is say I am watching a show like Blacklist when I create a one pass it recordeds ever episode that airs just like channels does but it also lets me know if say I missed an episode for whatever reason, what streaming services each particular episode is available on (Netflix, Hulu, etc.).

Would love to see the integrated so I would not have to do a Siri search for it to find out…

I have a similar need and have decided to funnel everything thru WatchAid. Even my DVR Shows as a reminder. Some shows I watch on Hulu with no commercials and some shows on Netflix or HBO etc. When I click on a show it starts the App to watch the show and on return it allows me to say I have watched it. For shows that I have on the DVR I usually just know it but when I click on it is pretty clear that I need to manually switch to the DVR App.

It would be nice if there was an integration but I think that might be hard to accomplish. But this might be a nice direction for the Channels Developers to follow. WatchAid pretty much supports ALL TV SHOWS from everywhere. I know missing some but for my needs it is everything I watch.

I’m doing the same thing with WatchAid and Television Time. It works but having something a little more seamless would be nice.

Integration like that with alllllllll of those services is enough work for it’s own product (which it is! WatchAid).

This is def not something we’ll be getting in to any time soon. Definitely check out WatchAid.

Any thoughts of interfacing with trakt.tv?

That’s def an option. It’s probably an option we’ll do for Channels DVR. But won’t come until we have a solid foundation laid down for DVR.
