Fedora 37 server and Channels-DVR

Installed channels-dvr on Fedora 37 server per instructions on website. Install is active and running, but cannot get to the config webpage. Any ideas? below is a copy of my systemctl status.

On the server computer what do you get when you input the following in your browser:
http://your-server-ip-address:8089/admin/settings or 127.0.0.1:8089

If I had to guess. I am betting firewalld is on by default and maybe blocking you from getting to it?

You can try sudo systemctl stop firewalld to stop it. Then to turn it back on sudo systemctl start firewalld

Here you can find other options from fedora.

im running a headless server only CLI. I just input my IP in the line you gave me and just get a blank web page saying cannot connect to web page. tired both safari and chrome from Mac and nothing.

This site can’t be reached

192.168.1.92 refused to connect.

Try:

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

By default, Fedora will install and run Cockpit upon a request to port 9090. Try accessing your server at that port and login. Then you can navigate and manage your server in a browser.

(Mobile Safari does not do too well with Cockpit; try from a desktop instead.)

That was it. Dang, I feel stupid. I forgot to add the port to "firewalld". Thanks again.
