Maybe I'm missing some feature. Sometimes I need to find a current or future show in the guide by one of the following. By channel number, by show name or by network name.
It seems when I'm in the guide or in the search tool not all of these things are possible to be used.
Also while in the guide you can't resort it as you need it at the moment.
You can’t search the guide itself. You’ll need to just use the general search to find future airings.
It would be very useful if there was a way to find things in the guide more like the cable tv proviors offer. This for us is really the only use ability issue we have ever run into with channels DVR.
In case you missed it, you can select the channel itself along the left edge of the guide to open On Later just for that specific channel:
In terms of customizing the guide order, you can do that with Channel Collections (and make them more dynamic with Automatic Channels):
