FIOS streaming - all available sources not coming through with Channels

Scanning Verizon FIOS using "TV anywhere" - most of the channels I'm subscribed to show up, to include the DRM'd channels that I can't get through my HD Prime tuners. The exception - Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2. I see them get discovered while the Channels DVR searches sources, yet they don't appear in the list of available channels. The other DRM channels do show up (FX, FXM, Big Ten Network, etc...).

I've tried rescanning several times which seems to add a channel every so often (can't tell which ones were added). I've gone from 147 to 153 available channels over the past few days by rescanning, but am not pulling the two I really want - FS1 and FS2. I am subscribed to both through my cable provider and they are available via streaming (I get them through the Verizon FIOS app).

Thoughts?

Make sure you get them on the website, not just the app. Channels pulls TVE streams from the websites, so that's where you need to check.

Does it work on fox.com/live ?

Yes it does. I've attached a screen shot of available channels. FS1 and FS2 are part of the package. I am able to stream FS1, which is showing MLB NLCS game 2 currently (7:30pm ET) and FS 2 has motocross on - both work on the fox.com/live webpage.

If you edit the source and then edit the channel list and rescan those channels individually what error do you get?

Wow.... I have many tricks to learn.

For FS1 and FS2: platform response: 404 Not Found
When I rescan... no luck, same result.

So..... not knowing what avenue Channels uses to find sources (source:Fox or distributor: Verizon) what does that mean? I can watch both channels from the verizon website (https://tv.verizon.com/) and from the fox.com/live

All TVE streams are sourced from the network's (in this case, Fox Sports) website directly. Your provider is only used to authorize/authenticate whether you have permission to get the stream from the network's site.

You could try to click AND HOLD the update button on the DVR server to get to the newest prerelease and then scan those two channels again. Worth a shot.

Thank you! There was an update for 10/14. I rescanned the channels and they loaded. Problem fixed!
