Easy question. I'm trying to get the fire stick beta client. I am blocked by the following permission required statement.
Please enable Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options > Apps from Unknown Sources > On
I can not find Developer Options when I drill down to My Fire TV. I also tried Permissions and didn't see Developer Options there, either.
Amazon has been locking down and removing standard features from their version of Android.
Historically, to enable developer options on Android you had to go to the system information screen, find the field with the build number/version, and then keep clicking "OK/Select". After about 10 presses a toast notification should display, saying something like "Congratulations, you are now a developer", and the developer options should appear.
settings > device > about > keep clicking on firetv until developer options.
