Fire Stick - No Devices Found

I connected an Amazon Fire Stick to my TV to use for Channels DVR. My TV is over the air - I have an antenna that works well. I have loaded the Channels DVR server on my computer, set up my subscription, and selected the drive to save recordings to.

When I launch Channels on Fire Stick, it cannot locate the device. It is directing me to http://192.168.1.11:8089/admin/settings to finish setup.

I tried running scan using HDHomeRun app to find Fire Stick but it cannot find it either. Do I need another device (HDHomeRun)?

Can you advise? Thanks.

Unfortunately you cannot use Channels app if the antenna is connected to the TV. It only works if you have a HDHomeRun box and connect the antenna to that.

Thank you very much! Do you know if Channels will work with Locast?

Channels DVR works with Locast. From the Web Admin screen, Choose "Add Source" and select Locast.

Note -- you must subscribe to Locast for this to work.
