I went and checked and they did not show as blocked, so I imported from source again, then they showed as blocked this time. However when I went to the guide it still showed the blocked channels. I restarted the app with the same results. So I again deleted the app data and cache. And this time when I restarted it seems the app was updated to a new version and now they display properly.
