First Locast, now FitzyTV

Looks like Adobe is in a legal dispute with FItzyTV. Will this have an impact on Channels DVR using TV Everywhere?

Because of the lack of any real agreements/partnerships, FitzyTV has always been a bit of a grey-market middleman in the streaming/cloud DVR ecosystem.

While FitzyTV and Locast may seem similar, they are actually completely different. Also, because of Locast's geo-restrictions based upon broadcast market area and the fact that they're a proper non-profit organization, they actually have US broadcast and copyright law on their side.

Fitzy tv substitutes other area locals, which is a no, no. They gave me ABC out of NC and I'm in Orlando. The recording is a grey area.

And this is why Channels is a much better approach, local authentication and storage.
