When I download a Netflix video from flixgrab and integrate to this Channels app, I’m unable to see subtitles option. Could it because of the flixgrab does not offer to download subtitles or am I missing something ?
My understanding is Flixgrab is a screen recorder and therefore it will not have embedded tracks for CC/Subtitles.

Actually I did a little extra checking and it does look like Flixgrab does offer subtitle download in addition to your recording. However, the subtitles are in TTML format which I do not believe Channels recognizes.

Correct. Channels does not yet support TTML (nor WebVTT, IIRC).
You happen to know any alternative to Flixgrab that offers subtitles in the video? Playon Home is the best one I know so far, but I was having issue with it sometimes.
I use anystream. Its expensive. Moderate forum support. Supports suptitles. Video quality ranging from 480p-4k depending on service and provider. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to what is available HD and what isn't.
You can choose to have it do subtitles embeded or *.srt. I choose embeded because i don't like extra files. Both Channels and Plex playback subtitles correctly.
