Can it be done. When i am done adding movies, i add tv shows. But doing this, it restarts the scans for Movies again, not the tv shows. Can we get this where it starts the scan of the folder that your trying to import, if the other folder is completed.
The Channels DVR local content import scanner always scans all defined local content import directories.

But when you add a new folder, it restarts the whole process from the top back down, instead of just scanning what you just added. If the first 2 folders are already scanned and updated, it shouldnt need to be rescan if i add tv shows. Needs to have some granularity, scan one folder or all folders.
I know what you're saying, but it needs to scan every folder defined as imports to see if any new sub-folders or files were added.
I would prefer to manually pick folders to scan/rescan or better yet, have it intelligently scan only new items added since the last scan.
You should change this thread into a Feature Request (I just did that for you).
I just added my vote to this.
Currently moving my dvr over to a different computer that accesses my folders on my NAS across my network. I have so many movies on it that it takes a bit of time to can that whole folder when all I am doing is moving over a few TV Shows from my other computer. I have to wait for the full scan of the movies folder before it will pick up any of the shows I am adding.
This would be a great addition. Even if we could independently only scan one folder from the "sources" section. Even better would be the "only scan changes" option like in Plex.
