I don't like where this is heading with tve. Seems fox still works for now on channelsdvr but I can no longer get a live fox feed on the phone unless I use my cables app. This hurts local cable more and possibly others with local viewing restrictions on traditional cable. Luckily I have directv stream.

In other words, they want you to use TVE or use another company's (like your cable company's) app; they just don't want to support a stand-alone app any more. Also in the article they list a slew of other apps and options they already have and will be maintaining.
This is pure cost cutting, nothing more.
I tried to watch the dodger game on TVE and it appears to be down.
I don't think Fox on TVE is long for this world.
Waiting for my HDMI video adapter to get here so i can setup ADBtuner.
