FOX TVE (6002): Local station guide option?

Can an option be added to map local station guide listings to the actual station instead of regional station IDs (i.e., FOXC) with "SIGN OFF" placeholders?

I know FOX's original TVE implementation did not have 24/7 streams of the local stations and only did primetime + sports programs, but I've been testing my station following the latest fix in the DVR prerelease and it does successfully stream local programming during the daytime even though the guide data says "SIGN OFF."

I'd understand if mapping the local guide data was imperfect – perhaps FOX's TVE still has occasional streaming blackouts – but a manual override option with a disclaimer would be nice instead of seeing all of the false "SIGN OFF" listings.

You can do this in sources. Select manage lineup and select edit via the pencil for the channel you wish to change which gracenote guide you wish to use.

Isn't this only possible for Custom Channels? I've never been able to do this for TVE sources that use a provider login.

Yep, you need to re-import as a custom source to be able to map a station...

TVE doesn't give that option directly...

However, I do agree with you from a Channels perspective; there is no reason now not to have TVE map to the correct guide data.
