That worked for DTV but not YTTV. Thank you for the tip. The channel is there, but it does not play anything. That seems to be a common problem, though.
Are you seeing the same error in your DVR log?
Below I what I get in the logs:
Could not start stream for TVE-DTV ch6002 WCOV: TVE: Stream Temporarily Unavailable
Trying to rescan experimental locals again is giving me an error and removing channel 6002.
400 Bad Request: "{"error_type":"Bad Request","error_message":"Bad Request: session already authenticated: bad request error (400)"}\n"
Tried deleting chromedata using update password, but still get the error.
Not sure how to "un-authenticate the session" to try again.
So I did the following to get Fox TVE 6002 back;
- cleared the chromedata folder
- removed my Xfinity TVE source
- restarted the CDVR container
- added my Xfinity TVE source back
- enabled experimental Local Networks via TV Everywhere
- it failed to add Fox with error
404 Not Found: "{\"errorType\":\"Not Found\",\"errorMessage\":\"Error: Token Not Found\"}\n" - toggled experimental Local Networks via TV Everywhere off/on and it worked
Not sure if I had to perform each step, but it worked.

Of course I still can't watch the channel though.

I rarely use but I have seen that football games, NFL, usually do show on 6002, even if outside of 7-9 Prime time.

Thought the NY station WNYW was the only one still working.
Just tried 6002, no go.
I can use the Fox One link m3u which works
But is 29.nnn FPS. And 360 native resolution.
WNYW local Fox 5 in NYC area
WFXT 25 Boston.
I was not working for many months, and then it came back.

Strange. That's not a Fox O&O station. It's an Affiliate owned by Cox Media Group.
I tested WFXT yesterday when I saw this post and it did not validate. Just tried it now and it seems to work. Thanks for the info!
Does it actually play?
My Fox affiliate authenticates, but errors out when I try to play/record.
So I use the EPlusTV project to get it from Fox One authenticating with my Provider.
Just Prime Time.
