My stream is 1080 60fps. The file Channels records is also 1080 60fps according to its properties.
But when I press the info button while the stream is playing live, Channels reports 1080p 30fps, and the quality doesn't seem as smooth as it should be.
I have Streaming Quality set to "Original".
When I view the same stream in another player, it reports 1080 60fps and looks much better.
What could be causing this?
What kind of stream (HDHomeRun?) are you recording?
Where are you playing it (Apple TV?)
It's an IPTV stream, playing on Nvidia Shield. I'm able to play other 1080/60 streams on it.
Try making a short recording from the stream, and then use View Details on the recording and paste the video information that it shows, in here.
Sorry. Disregard. I confirmed it's the other app reporting a frame rate higher than it actually is.
