Is there a plan to release Channels frontend for Android and Android TV? A lot of smart TVs these days have Android TV pre-installed and would be able to control and play the DVR backend without the need for an add on box.

There’s no current plans for android support right now. We’re concentrating on the DVR server itself and integrating it into the existing Channels clients.
