FruitDeepLinks — Universal Sports Aggregator for Channels DVR

Looks like a bug. I’ll fix.

Thanks.

Hiyas,

This sounds fantastic! I’m running on Ubuntu Server and seem to be getting this error:

When trying to deploy through Portainer stacks. Any ideas? I’ve double checked the ENV vars, and it doesn’t get far enough for docker logs fruitdeeplinks to be useful.

Thanks!

This looks like you're trying to build the container locally. What does the Docker Compose you're using look like?

Maybe use Project One-Click instead?

I was just following the GitHub instructions (stacks > repository > etc), so my docker-compose is the one in the repository.

It may finally be time to go one-click!

It does make things easier!

This should work for you too:

I've added MLB.TV FruitDeepLinks ADBTuner lanes to the Create Fruit ADBTuner Lanes + CDVR Custom Channels Project One-Click Action, however there's no cross-platform custom config for it yet, as I don't have an MLB.TV subscription. In the past, I've used the free game, but I don't believe that option exists anymore.

There's a generic Android MLB.TV config posted a bit earlier in the thread, though those often don't work for FireOS. If anyone has a chance to test it out -- let me know if there's a config that'll work on all platforms, as those are the ones I include in Project One-Click.

I'll use that dude's config for now as I can't see a reason why it wouldn't work with FireTV but I'll see for myself

Given the package name is the same on both platforms, you're probably right that it will work -- but if you could confirm for me I'd appreciate it. If it works, I'll package it with P1C.

I recently started using my own Android/ADB solution in addition to PrismCast with FDL. In the process, I noticed that many (maybe all) events have slightly different descriptions between the multisource_lanes.xml and adb_lanes.xml guide data.

For example, for tonight's "NHL: San Jose Sharks at Winnipeg Jets" game, the description in multisource_lanes is "(NHL) - San Jose Sharks vs Winnipeg Jets - Available on ESPN+" while for the adb_lanes.xml version, it is "... Available on ESPN". Notice the missing + after ESPN.

I primarily use MythTV and the discrepancy causes MythTV to see those events as different and try to record them both. Would it be possible to change FDL so the descriptions are the same. Either way, I'm curious how Channels handles this case if anyone is using PrismCast and ADBTuner/AndroidHDMI with FDL.

sure

Excellent! Many thanks.

Thanks for this amazing project! I'm hoping to use it to record NBA games and Tour de France via ADBTuner on Fire sticks, especially the games that are Amazon Prime only.

I've used OliveTin to create ADBTuner sources for Prime, Paramount, Peacock, and ESPN. However most of the events that show in my guide don't open the event on my Fire stick. I'm probably missing something simple but not quite sure what that simple thing is.

I'm also not sure if this is an FDL or ADBTuner issue so am posting here but please let me know if I'm in the wrong thread!

Guide looks good ok

Sample channel built by OliveTin One Click

Custom source for Prime

Sample event that won't open from guide. But clicking the http link works in the browser.

Is this option on the FDL filter page set correctly (it's set to default)? Not sure exactly what it does...

Any insight appreciated!

@KineticMan
Why are NBA games shown as DAZN events when they're not?

I’ll look into it!

Th answer (supplied by @bnhf in the ADBUner thread) was to pull the development version of ADBTuner. It fixed all my tuning issues.

Thanks for the amazing project!

Doh. @bhtv is my alter ego….a second test account I didn’t realize was logged in.

Thanks @KineticMan !

Hi @KineticMan

Was wondering if you have any future plans to add the ESPN talking shows to FDL? Like SportsCenter or PTI?

I’ve been using the Hulu ESPN deeplinks for those shows the past few months without issues, but I think the Hulu standalone app will be phased out soon by Disney sometime this year, so looking to test alternatives.

Thank you!

Hey there- my "OG" project ESPN4CC4C has the talking head shows. I've been knee deep in FastChannels for little bit and haven't done much here, but I do think it's due for a refresh and could probably add that in.
