FUBO Pricing

I'm not sure what you are talking about. I'm on the Essential Plan and I'm getting 100 TVE channels. However, most of the stuff I get is on the 207 channels I'm getting through VLC Bridge Fubo.

Whitch vlc-bridge are you using? I'm on the latest one and i'm getting like 202 stations
TVE isn't working should i contact support about the tve part?
seems that should be included.

I'm using jgomes177. The number of stations varies based on your location.

I doubt the TVE problem it is an issue for support. I would try deleting the input source and adding it back in, making sure the password is correct.

When i run the jbomez docker i'm getting server error when i click on the m3u while the other one works but it doesn't update the channels based on the subscription.
Any ideas as to why the jbomez thing isn't working?
I can always try again.
I like that docker better becuase it seemed to update with channels as they are added.

Check your settings. Here is what I'm using:
Stream Format: HLS
Source: URL
http://localhost:7778/fubo/playlist-hls.m3u (change port number as required)
Options: No Stream Limit

Also make sure you don't have port number conflicts between Docker containers.

I just didsome testing.
Looks like the jgomez image for Fubo tv only works on the normal Fubo plans.
if i do the essential plan, the docker doen't work properly and i have to switch to the other version.
i don't know if my account is messed up or not and i would have to setup a trial to test it out for sure.
would love to use the original docker but most likely i would have to upgrade.

YEP, three times that were brain farts. I guess my age is catching up to me. I have been reading the Docker posts for Channels, and if I was younger, I might experiment with it to. But now my brain is just not up to the challenge. I am just trying to get the best TV for my wife (who hates change) and I. Bottom line though is FUBO TVE did not give me any TV stations that were of interest. I think part of the problem was that I was using a VPN and FUBO apparently does not like VPN. I got a message that FUBO could not be connected to my Home Network as a result of the VPN. However, the only way I could get the Essential package was to use VPN to change my IP address as it seems FUBO monitors IP addresses. If I used my real IP address which I have had for several years, I was only offered the PRO package, as I had been a previous subscriber. So, I cancelled my Free Trial which was three days ago. Just for grins, I hit the reactivate sub and I get a Check Out message for $90+. No more of the 7 days free. Bottom line for me is FUBO and I don't play well together. I can only get the PRO package with sports for over a $100. Even the Essential for $90+ is not worth it to me. I can't even get the Essential package trial with my real IP address to see what I could get on TVE. It seems, FUBO is not very customer friendly. So, I will stay with Philo for $28.

As an experiment, I signed in again after clearing my browser cache and a different VPN IP to get the Essential package Free trial. I turned off the VPN before scanning and get 155 channels and only 70 are FTE, which are basically useless. The other channels, most of which I have never heard of, are viewable using the FUBO guide. There does not seem to be many channels that I would want that are not already available on PHILO FTE. It seems in a price comparison of channels and DVR features PHILO is winner by a huge margin. If you want a lot of news and sports FUBO is for you, buin FTE?. Maybe I am am doing something wrong but 70 out of 155 available in FTE is a loser IMHO. I think, for me, Channels using PHILO FTE, is far and a way a better option, especially for my wife. I get all the locals off an antenna using Hdhomerun. Anyway, Happy wife, Happy life!

Philo is great for TVE. I keep it around plus i have some encoders and ADBTuner for watching content not on TVE.
I much rather have tru HLS streaming so appreciate the Fubo stuff for now. The YTTV increase in price makes Fubo a better option.

The TVE you get with Fubo would be the same on Essential as on PRO. The only way to make Fubo worth while is to use VLC Bridge Fubo in addition to TVE. Most of the worth while networks are only on VLC, but a few are only on TVE.

When I was a subscriber of the PRO package, I was able to log into my Fubo account and "Change Plan" to Essential. I'm not sure, but I suspect you could do the same when on a free trial, but it would likely want you to start paying at that point.

I wonder if the old trick still works. You used to be able to ask them to pause the billing on the account and that would keep you from being able to log in to the web view but TVE would still work through Channels with the paused credentials. That was before the docker image so I never got to try to see if the credentials would still be working through the docker container.

Hmm, no VPN in use here. My Fubo FTE TVE is getting 117 channels. I'm not sure what's different between yours and mine.

With the Fubo-VLC-Bridge docker I'm getting 272 channels. I'd get 12 more if I paid $6.99/mo for the "Fubo Select" add-on but I decided against it.

Ii'm getting 201 channels, if money weren't a problem i would consider the Elite plan and move over to jgomez bridge.
The vlc-bridge doesn't change based on package.
Really wish the original vlc bridge worked on Essentials. I like th epackage.
