Just checked FUBO. It said price was $79.99 per month. They used to add on all sorts of fees to over $100. Is that not the case now. I am good with the $79.99.

I can get essential on my old FUBO account but not a new account, Essential has no sports. However, their math is screwy. $79.99 + $5.83 does not equal $90.36.
If I try for a new account, I can't get essential and have to get the Pro package with sports.
They have two fees that are not shown, one for $2.02 and one for $8.36. So the $5.83 is incorrect. Leave it to FUBO to play financial games.

I just switched from the "Pro" plan to the "Essential" plan. I'll see what happens.
Basically it sounds like they are pivoting away from the Sports focused content they built themselves around. I suspect this is a defensive move given the challenges they have with content providers and their lawsuit with the sports conglomerates. If that's the case, it probably signals they have a rough road ahead of them and may not be around for the long-haul, which would suck as I use them and they are the best value proposition for my specific circumstances (using Channels DVR servers at 3 locations allows me to use 1 subscriptions for 3 houses that includes locals for each location). I can't do that with Hulu or YTTV.
And no, I don't own 3 houses. I provide content for my mom's house and the old family cabin up in the mountains of NC.
YTTV supports Google’s Family Sharing.
Concurrent users, multiple locations. Just create different Gmail accounts for each house. I use it that way all the time. Hulu Live however does not.
I was ready to sub the Essentials plan, but then the price went from $79.99 + $5.83 to $90.36. They hide fees in a little box that you click on to see the real fees of $2.02 and $8.36. I don't like their deceptive practices. If I would have hit the subscribe button, I would have seen the true fees and the $5.83 no where to be seen. So, I don't think I need FUBO for $90. So I'll pass. The strange think is the Essential package was not available if I used a different Email address to sign up instead of the Email I had used on FUBO previously. Only started with the Pro package which has all the sports, which means a lot of added fees.

I got that same selection when I started a renewal. However the $79.99 goes to $90 when FUBO adds the undisclosed fees. The Essential package is the only one with no sports fees added. I have Philo now for about $28 and it has most of the stations that I want. It does not have any of the IMHO Fake News channels. I have to subscribe to Newsmax and use their app. The only thing I miss there is I can't record anything. The strange thing is I could only get the Essential package by renewing my old account that I had with FUBO. If I use a different Email address I can only get the Pro package which has all the sports add on fees. So, just for a trial, I turned on my VPN to get a different IP address and I can get the Essential package. So, I guess FUBO is monitoring IP addresses. The other thing I noticed was that since I started the sub Fubo was hammering me with Emails to complete my sub.

I signed up for the Essentials plan which appears to have no additional fees in Massachusetts. Just the straight $79.99.
One REALLY good feature of Fubo is that if you miss the start of a program, you can tell it to record that program when it is part way through and it will allow you to play it back from the beginning of the show. I have used this when I have had failures in my other sources, or when I have stumbled across an interesting show already in progress.
I also like the fact that the $79.99 legally includes "Friends and Family".
I use a combination of Fubo/TVE and VLC Bridge Fubo, and on rare occasions, Fubo directly. Without the combo of TVE & VLC, I would have to drop Fubo or invest in new equipment.
The price for Fubo here with the new plan is only $79.99 straight no extra fees.
Much better than having to deal with YTTV.
for what ever reason TVE didn't work on first scan.

Just signed up for the free trial. Did an FTE scan and got 70 channels. However, IMHO the FTE channel list is BS and of no value to me. I guess I can go into the FUBO account and get more channels, but I can do that now for $28. So,$90 is a no go. Si, I am just going to cancel FUBO, Terrible FTE.

same question. I googled and only "Full-time Equivalent (FTE) Employee Calculator" came up.
You can get most all of the channels if you use both TVE ...AND... VLC Bridge Fubo. Some are in one place and some are in the other place.
I Get 207 channels on the bridge and 100 on TVE.
If you signed up for the essential plan, you won't get TVE. I'm not sure if that is on purpose but i suspect it is a matter of adding it to the allowed channels.

FTE wa a stupid typo. everyone knows I meant TVE! Still, TVE is useless on the essentials plan. It does appear that If you sign up for the Essential plan, you won't get TVE, but only a bunch of useless stations. FUBO sucks IMHO. They try to squeeze every nickel from you one way or the other. I'll stick with Philo.
That was my guess at first too, but you typo’ed it three times, so I had to wonder
