Fubo TV project

@chDVRuser - Most are with a few exceptions.

FS1 4k is not giving me a DRM error message, just not opening - when I check the error from the original stream it says something about trying to play from not my region.

Comet! and ROAR played for me and do not have DRM enabled. I am not sure why they are not playing for you.

All the Nickelodeon and MTV stations are ViacomCBS channels. Looks like ViacomCBS asked for DRM to be implemented.

Charge! and The Nest are Sinclair as are the Roar and Comet! Not sure why some have DRM and others do not. Maybe implementing channel by channel.

According to the log, I'm getting the message that they are protected with DRM.
I was able to verify my findings in the logs in Container manager on my Synology.

Bummer!

DRM may be increasing but if you have an HDMI encoder or two, you can pipe back in those channels as long as you have the channels id in there

With ah4c, it's just add and copy and paste and thats it

Even with the DRM stuff, those 2 hdmi tuners are not being used over the bridge or TVE or the FAST stuff over here

Yeah, good reminder, I’ve also two HDMI encoders. Both AH4C and ADBTuner well, they just don’t tune into different channels quite as quickly as the VLC bridge integration does. Alas.

I'm already prepared.
I would rather have the hls streams but my encoder would work. When i recently signed up, i got a pretty good price on service.

Had 2 tuners setup on ADB as backup, went ahead and setup another 2 in anticpation of FuboBridge getting torpedoed by DRM.

Are the ABC/Disney/ESPN channels DRMd now as well? :flushed:

They have been for a while now.

Silly me.

Those channels are still available via TVE -- at least with DTV and YTTV credentials. Not sure about with Fubo credentials, but I would suspect so.

TVE works as expected on Fubo.

If you live in the LA area, might as well shut down the docker and use something else.
From what i can see, Fubo has encrypted about 10 channels.
fox and CBS plus the 2 Fanduel sports network channels.
Fox news channel and Newsmax and newsmax 2 are also drm protected.
Cozi tv and cmt.
KTLA waws blocked along with kcal 9.

I'm in the LA area, and these channels are still working for me, via this docker. I justed tested them all. Are you saying they'll stop working for me with the next guide update, or when the docker is restarted?

Even without those channels I'd still keep the Fubo VLC bridge docker for the other 250+ channels it makes quickly available to my CDVR setup. Yes, I realize the writing's on the wall with DRM encroaching further, and this list will keep getting smaller, but I'll just keep enjoying the docker for as long as it lasts.

Thankfully I also get Fox, CBS, KTLA, KCAL, and Cozi via OTA antenna.

Looks like there was some sort of outage.
I wil keep an eye on this one. I want the hls streams more than all this stuff.
I'm hoping that thhis is the case.

I updated to v0.0.6 just now, not sure what's changed but just wanted to report, the channels are still working fine for me. Thanks again for your great work on this, @GenericChannelsUser

Keep in mind, it is a work in progress.
They are adding DRM to less popular channels to make sure it works on the app as intended.
Without knowing the sserver cluster setup i wouldn't be able to even begin to know the region goals.
I've got some deep oinks in ADB Tuner so when a channel goes DRM, we will simply change to the app through ADB Tuner.

I just updated the docker hub and gitlab to 0.0.8. For some reason the group-title in the m3u was repeating itself over time, so I removed that code and replaced it with a static title of vlc-bridge-fubo. This should fix that issue.

Yes, so is Channels DVR. So is life. Along with everything else that makes me happy, I'm enjoying it while it lasts.
