There is an assumption I have... the BACK and MENU keys are definitely two different inputs.

When in TV listing Matrix:

Pressing BACK when a future show is selected then snap back to present time slot.

All other places where BACK can be used:

If BACK would invoke the MENU then allow an alternate action via a user pre-configuration:

  1. Live TV (Small note on PiP... ‘Live TV’ would restore to full-screen)
  2. Default (what it does now)

So what are the chances? :innocent:

The app is designed to work with any remote, and the official Siri remote only has one Menu key which is the same as Back.

OK, understood.
However any chance of the idea to get the focus on the TV Listings Matrix to bounce back to ‘current’ rather than having to press the ‘left direction’ key? :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, we understand how annoying it is right now and plan to address that when we redesign the guide later this year.

I hadn’t realised there was a re-design coming up for the TV Listings Matrix.

I’d love to be able to tell my wife of any forthcoming improvements/changes!!
