Is there a way to set a recording up for a program that doesn't show up in the guide?

In WMC I could create a recording for a program to record in the future without it being in the guide. It was just a generic rule that would record that show/program on any channel that it played on, as long as I had the correct title.

Is it already possible and I'm not seeing it?

You can do that with an Advanced Pass from the DVR web UI using Title CONTAINS your_show_name

Yes you can on the web page you can create a advanced pass.
