Not that I mind but I am running out of room on my NAS. I have reset it, changed all the options I can find and it STILL records every season from 1 on through to the current 19. I'm tired of having to manwelly delete the shows. Any suggestions?
The DVR is installed on a DS718+ on FW DSM 7.0-41890 , I have not updated to latest 7.0.1-42218 unless someone can give me a compelling reason to.

That is because the syndicated airings on whichever network has the reruns marked them as new; the guide provider has done this, as they are new to that channel. This is not a error/bug in Channels; it is simply what the guide provider has in their system.
To stop these airings from recording, edit the pass you set up and add a condition such as "SeasonNumber > 18" or limit the channel to your CBS.
