Getting stuck in menu

With the latest app update, I’ve had an issue where I open the settings menu but can’t navigate back out. I’m still able to move within the settings menu itself but can’t switch back to another menu. Restarting the app is the only fix so far.

We’ve gotten a few reports like this, though we haven’t been able to reproduce it.

If anyone else has seen this, providing as much information as possible about what you did before this happened would be helpful.

Are you on the Channels or Channels DVR Apple TV app?
Do you have Channels DVR?
Did you see anything weird going on with the tabs before this happened?

Anything you can report can help us track this down.

On Channels app, yes I have the DVR, and this has happened randomly no other weird behavior for me.

I have this problem. I am stuck in Settings. I had updated my Homerun Connect firmware to the latest version that includes the new TV (demo) channels that are traditional cable channels. Is Channels(the app) updated for the new Homerun version?

This isn’t related to compatibility with the HDHomeRun, it appears to be happening after a channel scan firmware update and is just a regular UI bug.

We’re investigating it now.

Go ahead and just force quit the app to resolve the issue.

We have tracked this bug down and it will be fixed in the next version.
