Global Client Setting for "Favorites"?

I decided to alter my Live-TV "favorites" in my sources ( specifically I decided to remove a couple of sports chennels from my Xfinity source). Once I do this, the channels are no longer listed when I select "favorites" on the server .

But on the individual clients, these channels still display, and the only way I can find to remove the un-favorited channels is manually on each client one by one.

I'm not seeing anywhere within the Global Client Settings to apply my choices of source "Favorites" across all clients. Any tips?

Channels Server running on MacPro. ----- Any tips?

Favorites as implemented with a new install of the app are specific to that particular device. There are 2 options to get the result you want:

  1. Set your favorites as you like on the server via the web UI. Delete the app from your client device and re-install—or if using an Android-based device, clear the app's cache and data—which will force the app to read the favorites from the server.

  2. Use Channel Collections, which are managed from the server web UI, and kept in sync with all client devices.

(The second option is the preferred method.)

Android client apps have a Sync Favorites/Hidden from server or to server option (Import/Export)

No idea why Apple clients, the primary development focus of Channels, does not have this feature.
Perhaps is due to ecosystem limitations on Apple side?? idk.

I remember that option, but I thought it had been removed. (I abandoned Android and its patchwork of horrible system update policies.) And while that option still exists, I am not sure as to its longevity.

In either case, it matters not to the OP. The OP's clients are all Apple, and the stated direction of the Channels ecosystem is toward Channel Collections, which are much more versatile.
