Anyone else while watching a show it goes back tot he guide on its own.. its been happening all day today
Yes, I had something playing, zoned out and / or was doing something else then realized it's was back on the guide. I figured one of my cats did it.
This is a thing, no cats here. Turned on my TV this morning and was watching the news and sure enough .. went back to the loading screen then to the guide
I only saw it happen once and it could have been one of our animals. I didn't equate it with an issue until I read your post. I'm running the same app version as before when it happened, but have since updated the dvr engine. I can't say it was an issue in the first place, but try updating the dvr engine to the latest prerelease.
Since it has happened to me multiple times over the last few days I suspect a bug we will see

Ok so that's the dvr server version. You're running a prerelease. What about the app. The stable play store version or the beta?
The reason I ask, and I might be wayyyy off base with this assessment. The stable app, and the beta app, and the stable dvr server and the prerelease.
To me, there is a massive disconnect between the two. The beta app is way further along than the stable version. And the prerelease dvr server is way further along than the stable version. Mixing any combination of the two can cause some janky results. Unpredictable behavior. And no I don't have anything to back these claims up, if the devs ask what am I referring to.
I feel like if anyone is gonna run the prerelease server, gotta run the beta app. And if running the stable server, use the stable app.
Which app version are you using?
I am not "complaining" simply reporting a bug and yes you are correct I should have been clearer. its a pre-release version, I expect bugs. I am just hoping for the auto-Next episode feature on the DVR to appear thanks
I noticed it started happening on the beta app version 203170011 the other night. Happened a few times, tried to submit logs and the app would not submit them. Only seemed to happen on the NFLN TVE channel I was watching after about 10 minutes. Haven't noticed it again, but haven't watched that channel either.
I think you have taken what I said out of context. I was saying that mix and matching stable, prerelease, beta, alpha, omega, whatever, think it can cause issues.
Was trying to figure out if you were running the beta alongside the prerelease.
I have noticed a freezing. The picture will get stuck. Or the stream becomes choppy. Have to back out and go back to the channel.
