Is there anything that can be done about the Golf Channel - it seems to be the worst of any of the channels I have tried with lots of buffering and pretty poor picture quality when it does start streaming. The other NBC channels like The Olympic Channel and NBCSN perform great and in HD so just wondering if anything can be done. Thanks.
Anything in the Channel DVR log during your viewing time, like read timeout error or such?
When I try to Live view the TVE GOLF channel 6159 I get a read timeout error after 1 minute.

It also appears to be either adaptive streaming, or maybe probed during commercials;
Probed live stream ... h264 640x360 progressive 875904bps
Probed live stream ... h264 960x540 progressive 1954348bps
You might want to try recording something from that channel and provide Channels DVR log data for the recording, including the line in the log that shows the [MTS] stats.
2019/10/03 17:00:01 [MTS] Statistics for "TV/PGA Tour Golf/PGA Tour Golf Shriners Hospitals for Children Open First Round 2019-10-03-1633.mpg": skipped=0 unhandled_packets=0 discontinuity_detected=0 transport_errors=0 invalid_pts=0 invalid_dts=0 saw_pcr=true saw_pmt=true highest_pts=1632.696000
I just did a recording of the last 27 minutes of that First Round and don't see any issues with the recording quality (other than the commercials).
