I just added a google streamer to one of my TVs due to my apple TV not working with my sound processor. I'm very new to the google TV OS and having problems finding the channels app. I have gone to apps and searched for "channels", "channels dvr" and every other iteration I can think of but all that the search results show is a bunch of "related videos" about the channels app. On my apple TVs, I just search for channels and it comes up to download and install. Very easy.

How do I get the channels app on google streamer?

so, I figured it out. If I search the apps section on the streamer I get nothing. If I go to the channels web interface on my computer and add a client, I am able to install it from there.
