I currently subscribe to YouTubeTV ( I prefer their PQ for sports - seems to be upscaled nicely). However, it doesn't offer the MSG channel (local NY regional sports network carrying NY Knicks and NY Rangers games,etc). For that I subscribe to the Gothan Sports App (which includes MSG as well as the YES network (which carries NY Yankees and Brooklyn Nets games, etc). The app is fine, EXCEPT it doesn't have a DVR function. Games usually start around 7:30pm EST and I'm usually not available to start watching until 9:30pm.
Can Channels DVR work?
