Very new to 'Channels' but I've used Gracenote for years. Is there a way to populate 'NEW' in the guide? I sorta miss the 'Premiere' and 'New' tags.
Those are all there in the guide data.
What do I have to do to display them? I had ICON issues for a few days and I sorted that but looking at the guide on a PC I don't see 'Premiere' or 'New'.

Do you mean you want to filter/sort the guide to only display shows with the “new” tag?
No - Using just Gracenote (web presence) if an episode is a 'Premiere' or 'New' it will be tagged as such in the basic guide.
There are various other tags such as 'Finale' and also 'Live' for various other episodes or events.
So you want a new tag in this line next to big brother? This episode is new and if you click on it the box it pulls up states it’s new. What you’re asking is to display the new tag so you can tell the episode is new without having to click it?
Gracenote provides that data, and for relevant episodes Channels will display it.
Do you have a specific instance where you know that Channels failed to display such metadata, but was concurrently displayed on other platforms using Gracenote's data?

IIRC, the blue vertical line to the left of the airing means it's tagged as New.

This is a link for Gracenote. Use it and your market and I believe it will display what I see and would like to see. If you wanted to see mine currently use 25414 and Comcast Digital Berkley County.
Yes a 'no click' to see 'New', 'Finale', 'Live' etc. My link should display what I've been looking at for years, better than a decade I'd say.
Maybe I’m unclear about what the issue is. But you can see here that these certain tags like Season Premier, are in fact showing:
This information is shown in the details pane for the current airing in the streaming apps.
Our time is spent on making the native streaming apps as useful as possible as this is the main interaction point for everyone.
The web admin will never be as informative as a client as the native streaming clients.
