Guide and m3u options/arguments

I have learned from this community that I can access Live TV using various urls in third party apps (like iptvsimple for Kodi or Emby) such as

http://192.168.50.249:8089/devices/ANY/channels.m3u?format=ts for the channel list

and

http://192.168.50.249:8089/devices/ANY/guide/xmltv?duration=604800 for the guide

This has been pretty handy, especially for iOS and TVOS where there is no Kodi Channels add-in.

Is there any documentation on the various arguments that can be added to these urls? I've seen &acodec=, &vcodec= and &codec= used in a few examples but no clear information on what they do or what are the acceptable settings.
