I am currently Recording ch6197 for Skip and Shannon: I also have 2 Prime tuners .... TVE and Prime Channels are combined in the guide by guide data ... tuner sharing is turned on ... If I select 723 from the guide which has the same guide data as 6197 and select watch live it starts tuning from the Prime ... but does not share the TVE stream... Why ?
Something Wierd is happening when combining channels with guide data in example below channel 6751 is missing from my Clients ... 301 Comet is there. Shows up when combned by channel numbers.
That is the expected behavior (assuming your Prime has priority on the client). When combining by guide data, the highest priority source's channel number is the one that will be displayed; if it cannot tune the higher priority source, it will then attempt the next source that has a channel (regardless of number) that has the same stationID/guide data. But all other channels with that same guide data will not appear in the guide, only the first occurrence in the priority list.
OK understood about Sharing the stream ...
But how about combining by guide data as you can see the guide data is different. One is East feed the other is west feed so why combine them ? See Comet example above. I bet there are a lot more channels that is combined and should not.
