Sometimes guide doesn't/never populates. I have to close the app then reopen it, for it to fix the guide.

Are you using Channels plus or just Channels for HDHomeRun? More specifics of your setup would be helpful.
Channels DVR plus, MacMini for server, to Apple TV 4k.
So the guide grid is displayed but nothing is there?
Channel numbers show, but no logo.
Rest of the guide grid has hours on top, but no guide data.
Do you see guide data on the DVR server web UI?
