Guide Download Error

Anyone else getting guide download errors today?

I'm getting a string of these errors in my log:

[WRN] Retrying guide data request in 1m40s due to http response 503
2025/03/21 09:31:09.552704 [DVR] Error fetching guide data: GET: https://tmsdata.fancybits.co/v1.1/lineups/

The troubleshooting under Support gives a full house of green ticks so I don't think it's anything my end, but it would help to know if anyone else is having issues too.

Yes, also having guide download issues, the DVR is now unusable.

OK. Looks like a channels end issue then. I've emailed support.

My guide data is fine

My Guide data is still there, it just can't update it.

My log shows the guide data updating.

This seems to be intermittent. Not everyone is receiving 503 error codes from our guide provider.

We’re watching this.

Mine has been trying all day at increasing time intervals to connect with no luck so far.

I am also experiencing these issues with not being able to download guide data. I’m currently doing a new setup and adding a bunch of channels. I’m getting 503 errors when trying to download the guides and also when searching for Gracenote ID’s via Streaming Library Manager.

Gracenote channel data fail in SLM:

I’m based in the UK (if that makes any difference at all) and it started about 7 or 8 hours ago.

Me too. Might be a red herring, but that's 100% of those of us who have reported problems are from the UK.

To help us identify what's going on with these issues, if you're having this problem are you:

  • In the UK
  • In the US
  • Elsewhere

Italy here. Getting 503s.

I just ran my channels through a VPN in the US and I was able to download the guide data. This does seem to be related to some sort of region or routing issue.

just did the same thing and can confirm that my guide data also manages to download without issue when my Channels container is routed through a US VPN - and promptly fails again when connected back to UK

seems to be working again now

Yep, seems to be sorted for me too.

Worked this morning for me in the UK, will keep an eye on it though!
