Guide duplicating channel

On my ATV4k latest gen and iPhone latest beta apps I have 2 stations that all of a sudden today are showing up duplicated in my guide. My local ota cbs 5.1 and their sister station mytv 62.1. All other ota stations do not duplicate and this is new today. These two channels do not show duplicate in the Hdhomerun app or Hdhomerun web ui channel lineups.

I do have two Hdhomeruns, a quatro and a kickstarter 4k.

Inside CDVR web ui in each Hdhomerun source under manage lineup the channels are only listed once. No duplicate in the manage lineup section.

In the channels web ui guide the channels are not duplicated.

I have tried deleting and recreating guide database and still duping.

I tried submitting diagnostics from ATV4k but it keeps failing so I submitted from iOS app.

As these are sister stations broadcast from the same tower and they are the only ones duplicating it seems reasonable that channels dvr is not handling something that they have recently changed.

How do you have the clients set for channel stacking (stack duplicates)?
Settings > Manage Sources > Stack Duplicates

Stack duplicates by channel number is what I have selected.

Does it fix it if you select by guide data?

It does. Strange I’ve never needed that setting before. I guess I’ll leave it that way.

With that change what should I look out for of anything on other channels? I’m not familiar with these settings and what exactly they do beyond their name.

Me either.
I think when you select a live show/event from the client it uses the source priority set in the client to decide which source channel to tune from. The DVR has its own separate source priority.
That's all I know (must have misplaced my Channels DVR Client User's Guide :laughing:).
