So I'm giving Channels a try instead of Plex and I really like the speed/stability but one thing I really enjoy about Plex is the visual content - basically since they're providing the EPG, they're doing metadata matching and it looks really nice visually (thumbnails/content of the shows).
Is there any way to get something similar in Channels? I am using an IPTV provider and EPG provided by them - would a better EPG source help or is it just because Channels doesn't support the thumbnails?
OK, so I figured out if I use the Channels provided EPG, then I get the thumbnails, etc. However, one area I'm struggling with is the ability to have multiple EPG's (from multiple countries) applied to a single source. I can't tell if that is supported or not?
When I go select Guide Data, I can select a single EPG source. However, when using Manage Lineup, I can add additional channels to map from multiple sources - but is that actually bringing in EPG data from those sources? I'm confused...
It sure does. I am running the UK docker and can pull in locals from the UK along with my local channels. All channels have epg
