Guide Incorrect for 'Charge' Channel 09/01

Most every guide has incorrect information for Channel 'Charge' tonight 09/01 11PM EDT & 09/02 12AM EDT including Channels. If I record those 2 episodes will Channels pick up correct series, episode ID or will it be recorded and ID'd by what the guide says?

Homicide: Life on the Street starts tonight on Charge but isn't ID'd as such for those time slots. Channels DVR guide shows starts tomorrow 09/02 at those times but with 11PM episode 3 and 12AM next episode 4.

My TiVo guide has correct info but my Xfinity still shows incorrect info and Channels will record from my CableCARD HDHRCC.

It will be what the guide says in Channels DVR.

Information in the guide is provided by Gracenote. It's up to them to get correct information from the networks.
It's possible that Charge made a change in their schedule and didn't give an update to Gracenote in time.

Got it! So if I were searching after recording in several months I would need to search for what the guide currently shows?

Fortunately, Channels DVR makes it possible for you to edit metadata after recordings are finished.

Thank you! Looks easy enough. Now if doing DTV Streaming using 4 Osprey and an HDMI Encoder were this straight forward, this ole man would be very happy.
