It would sure be nice to have a way to jump forward/backward by full days in the guide. As it is, you have to hold down the left/right forever to get a few days out. But, if you encounter a program that is longer than the guide is wide (such as a football game), it stops scrolling until you move the cursor to a channel that is shorter.
Dish DVR's guide had forward/backward by 3 hours and by whole days. I used that a lot.
Dish DVR's guide would continue to scroll regardless of how long a program was. It would just indicate, with an arrow on the left side, that the beginning of that program was earlier than the time being show.
