I use FireSticks and I do have a few Guide navigation suggestions, although I suspect the Guide may not be yours to change.
. FFWD button - Jump ahead 24 hrs in Guide
. Rewind button- Jump back 24 hrs
. Dbl click Down button - Page down in Guide
. Dbl click Up button - Page up in Guide
Optional:
. Dbl click Right button - Jump ahead 2 hrs 30 min (The next set of hours)
. Dbl click Left button - Jump back 2 hrs 30 min
