Guide trouble

I’m having issue with the guide showing up for the DVR. Also the link on the home page tell me to click for the web interface but it goes no where.

Log looks fine. Do you see guide data in the web interface for your DVR? On the Guide and On Now tabs.

This line below made me a little concerned.

-I waited a while and logged back in later that day and the guide loaded for me. I still can’t record programs through the program through ATV4. This morning I was able to set a few recording using the pc interface through.

What kind of system do you have the DVR installed on?

I just checked and the show i setup via pc are recording fine. I just cant setup recording through APTV4

On the ATV, do you see a DVR tab and your recordings?

Yes, I have the DVR and The recordings tab.

Standby it looks as if I do now have the ability to search for a series and click on a show to record.

One last thing is that when I set a series recording it wants to select every channel it appears on eventhough i have “new”.

I can let it play out to see if it tries to record them all instad of just one. I can follow up later this week and let you know what happens.

just curious…Should I be able to set recording from Graph guide?

You should be able to click on an upcoming show on the Guide tab and set it to record, yes.

Does nothing happen when you click an upcoming show?

Try going to Settings tab, click and hold on your HDHomeRun, then click Refresh Device.

Just added 9 channels via adbtuner. The guide works great for 8 out of nine. for the 8 where the guide works, I simply clicked "manage lineup", then clicked on the pencil icon at the right. I started typing in the channel name and the field autopopulated, I selected the channel (i;e; Food Network), and the guide loaded. I cant get this to happen for Discovery Channel. I start typing "Disc...." expecting if to offer me channels to select from, but nothing. If I spell out "Discovery" or "DiscoveryHD" this field acts like there is no such thing as the discovery channel. WHen I goto the guide, The Discovery Channel just shows the generic hourly increments. If I click that channel, Discovery Channels works just fine. Any ideas why I cand get the Discovery Channel Guide?

I see the search all lineups now. This very wierd. Its like Discovery Channel no longer exists. On this image I point to the "DVS:USA-NJ29435-L" that I've circled. Where does that come from? Anyway, if I hit that little "+" sign to the right of the L I can enter my zip code and then it lists several providers in my area. I can select Verizon FIOS, Optimum (local cable company), etc. I used to have Verizon Fios and I had Discovery Channel in my channel package. Even if I add both Verizon and Optimum, then I enter various combinations of the Discovery, Discovery HD, Discovery Channel HD and lots of other variations, While I do find some discovery channels, they populate the guide with shows that done appear to be in my region. Anyway, this one has me stumped.

You selected a guide provider for your source device, like it was an HDHR tuner.
You can still remap the guide data doing what I said. You're going to have to figure out which one (call sign) matches the programming you get from each channel (not fun).

If you want to remove that guide provider, click Manage > Remove Provider

actually, I just kept trying and found one that matches the hulu guide for Discovery Channel, so I think I'm good now. THANK YOU!
