I’m having the same problem I did about a month ago. The guide data is not updating and It runs out in a few days. I have to manually tell the DVR software to update the guide data.
Now I may have a clue why this is happening. My WD NAS with the DVR software is set to shut itself off between midnight and noon (PDT) since I know I won’t be recording anything during that time. If the guide data gets updated at 9AM, I may be missing the update every day.
Can the DVR software be enhanced to notice that the “normal” update at 9AM was missed and do an update when the NAS starts up? Of do I have to leave my NAS on all the time?
