H.265 Transcode Errors

When I enable the h.265 transcode option on hardware that supports it, I get the following error when trying to watch anything recorded. Obviously solely want to use this option for cellular streaming.

[HLS] ffmpeg: file62-0e359c54ef0c: [hls @ 0x89c3c00] Stream HEVC is not hvc1, you should use tag:v hvc1 to set it.

I understand how ffmpg works command line wise, just not sure where to modify the arguments.

You can ignore this:

I probably should have mentioned that the stream never starts. Just the spinning circle endlessly and that error repeating over and over.

Start Transcoder -> Error -> Stop Transcoder. Repeat.

Like they said in the the other thread, It is a warning, and can be ignored....
Neverminded that the feature is not working, that u can ignore to i guess.
I tried enabling it too, same message, same results...it don't work.
 :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Not many people use it yet, hopefully they get it sorted out.

Send in diagnostics and maybe that will help them find the issue.

I have experienced the exact same issue i.e. "total failure to transcode" .. similar processor (I5-8500T) and os (lbuntu 22.04) and posted to the forum and the official response was that "HVEC transcoding is experimental" ... sorry YMMV...

This combination of 8th gen intel processor and OS does not seem to work with the ffmpeg parameters being used here.
