You have to go into the folder that is present and then make a url that has the same code as that folder.
The file you downloaded is only 472 bytes, so its not correct.
The url doesn't match the pattern I provided earlier.
vs
curl -O https://downloads.plex.tv/codecs/e613bce-3d5ad59c62e771ae9cb5738e-darwin-x86_64/libaac_decoder.dylib
What you need to use is:
Looking back at my terminal history, I did try that format, but with the same result. However, removing the 472 byte version and running your code fixed the issue. Thanks.
@maddox Just wanted to make sure you saw this before - virtual channels are getting passed through on custom channels to plex
In the M3U or the EPG?
It's supposed to be filtered out of the "ALL" M3U, but probably not each individual one.
m3u
Has anyone figured out how to add Channels DVR as multiple tuners to Plex? From my testing it really only sees it one time and you can’t add another one from the same IP address.
I’d like to have separate channels collections show as separate tuners over on Plex but it doesn’t seem to work.
That didn't work for me either. I considered creating one combined Channel Collection that I would use specifically with Plex, but I was so turned off by the rest of the user interface that I just abandoned ship.
Actually if Plex allowed groupings by channels then it would be a non-issue for me. I know they do it for their own channels based on their metadata but I don’t want them deciding for me lol.
Hi Guys, I don't like to post but can't seem to get it to work, Wont let me add the URL http://127.0.0.1:8089/devices/ANY/channels.m3u that's one from Channels (i tried with correct IP and i tried with other URL with added ?formatt=ts etc none work i could find.
Do i need one Tuner to be active before it works, Running latest pre-release of channels also,
Is it still working or broken on Plex Side
Why don't you do as I posted above don't really care what you tried if it didn't work.... You are probably on an old release of Channels DVR.
What is the version number?
@tmm1 any chance of adding additional image aspect ratios (2x3) as that is what suits plex’s layout?
Plex has the same guide data (gracenote) but they always seem to get a lot more errors in their guide.
Understandable if you don’t want to add, but just thought since this is for plex you may consider adding the images to suit.
Channels doesn’t have that aspect for tv shows.
Is this feature still working with the current release of both applications?
I've installed the newest versions of Channels DVR and Plex Media Server, but I'm unable to complete the integration.
Does this functionality require specific versions, or should it work with the latest releases?
Which part is not working? What is happening?

The Configuration Issue
When attempting to integrate my Channels DVR with Plex, I encountered an error. After copying the M3U URL directly from Channels DVR and attempting to add it to Plex as a tuner device, the system failed to recognize the connection.
The error message indicates: "There was a problem adding the device" with reference to the Channels M3U URL. Despite the system continuing to search for available devices, the connection cannot be established.
