Had to put a new drive in my mini DVR, what files to move?

I've put a new drive in my Mac mini that was working as my DVR. My recordings are on an external... what files do I need to transfer to the new drive for a seamless transition?

Move all the folders (Database, TV, Movies, Logs, Images) over, then uncheck DVR checkbox on the settings tab and change the path to the new location.

Wherever you configured your DVR to store them. Presumably your external drive.

No you don't need to do anything to that directory.

Your dvr storage location is shown on the web UI under the dvr checkbox

I'm not really clear on what you're trying to do. Are you trying to move your recordings from the external to the new drive?

I've put a new internal drive in. My recordings are on an external which hasn't changed.

So are you reinstalling macOS or what?

On a fresh OS you can simply reinstall the DVR and then use http://127.0.0.1:8089/restore to restore the latest backup.
